Project Extra Mile Project Extra Mile - the Metro area's Underage Drinking Prevention Project - will have a February 18th meeting for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. This is an great way to get involved in making a difference in our community by working against underage drinking. This month's meeting is at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th St., from 5:30 - 7:00. For more information, please contact Mrs. Augustine at Russell or call Rachel Horton, Youth Coordinator, at 963-9047.

Future Wildcat Night for RMS Thursday, February 11 is Future Wildcat Night for Russell Middle School. $5 gets a student admission, slice of pizza or hotdog, and a beverage. Russell future wildcats are also entered in a prize drawing. Join us as the MW WILDCATS take on the Burke Bulldogs – Girls Game 5:30 p.m. Boys Game 7:15 p.m. |

How to Raise a Drug Free Kid by Joseph Califano, Jr. A review by Mr. Jack Struyk, RMS & MWHS Parent I read this book in an effort to become more educated in the scope of the drug activity and hopefully get help in knowing how to help my kids stay drug free and how to best do that. It turned out to be an interesting read. A lot of it is common sense parenting, but we all know being a responsible parent is not always as easy as it should be...........
